The latest sensation in the current technology world, is expanding its capabilities. The tool, which is based on Artificial Intelligence(AI), provides the user with the necessary information with accuracy, and there are claims that it will replace employees in the future. The latest version of Chat GPT 4 is doing better than ever in various tests conducted in the US. Open AI has released the details of the score scored by chat GPT in the exams in its blog. 

• Chat GPT 4 score in uniform bar exam was 298/400 while chat GPT 3.5 version scored only 213/400 in the same tests. Every person who wants to start practicing as a lawyer in the US should score well in these tests. The test are divided into three sections. Multistate Bar Examination(MBE), Multistate Performance Test(MPT) and Multistate Essay Test(MET). 

• The Law School Admission Test(LSAT) is conducted for those who want to pursue law education in the United States. According to Open AI, chat GPT scored 163 marks. The older version got 149 marks in this test. While the latest version of chat GPT scored 87/150 in the US Biology Olympiad (USABO) exams, the previous version scored only 43/150. At the US National Chemistry Olympiad (USNCO), the chat GPT 4 score was 36/60, while the previous version scored 24/60.

• A graduate record exam(GRE) score is mandatory for admission to MS in universities in various countries, including the US. Lakhs of students take this test every year across the world. Most of them are Indians. It consists of questions that test the student’s abilities in quantitative, verbal and analytical writing. Chat GPT scored 163/170 in quantitative, 169/170 in verbal, and 4/6 in analytical writing test. The current score is 10 per cent higher than the marks of the previous version. 

• Chat GPT 4 answered all the questions in the sample questionnaire prepared by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. The previous version of chat GPT scored 73.4% in this test. GPT4 scored 83.4%. The students scored the highest marks of 73.7% in these exams. 

• Apart from these, chat GPT 4 has performed better in various disciplines such as Art, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, History, Art History, Economics and Environment in the Advance Placement(AP) examinations conducted by the College Board for higher education in various colleges in the US, open AI said. 

In November 2022, Open AI launched the Chat GPT tool. Microsoft has invested heavily in Open AI. The chat GPT 3.5 version can be used to write e-mails and do coding analysis. Open AI says the answers offered by the advanced version of Chat GPT4, which was launched last month(March), will be much better. 

So far, the chat GPT has answered only the input given in the form of text. From now on, it will give the user the necessary information through photo inputs. In addition, it provides better indications of medications based on patient characteristics, assisting authors in creative writing, analyzing legal files, and making better suggestions for financial transactions, open AI said. 

Chat GPT, which has passed rigorous examinations from reputed universities in the US and other countries. It is noteworthy that he did not pass the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examinations conducted by the Government of India.
